Status Saver & Recovery ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

Notification Data: To provide the "Deleted Message Recovery" feature, the app requires access to the Notification Listener Service. We read incoming notifications from WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business to detect and save messages. This data is stored only in a local database on your device and is never uploaded to any external servers.
Media and Files: We use the Storage Access Framework (SAF) on Android to access the WhatsApp status folder. This allows the app to display, save, and share status media (photos/videos). We do not have access to your private gallery or other personal files unless explicitly selected by you.
Technical Log Data: We may collect non-personal information such as device model, OS version, and crash reports through third-party services (e.g., Firebase or Google Play Services) to improve app stability.
2. Data Storage and Security
Zero Server Storage: Your messages and downloaded statuses are yours alone. We do not maintain any cloud storage or servers that host your personal content.
Local Security: Since data is stored locally, its security depends on your device's security settings. We recommend using device encryption and screen locks to protect your information.
